Dr. Amy Bloom (Traditional Medicine)
Dr. Amy Bloom trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester and Preventive Medicine at
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. After several years in practice as an intensive care
and emergency physician, she joined the Epidemic Intelligence Service of the CDC. For the past
eight years, she has been assigned from CDC to work internationally on emerging infectious
diseases, particularly Tuberculosis and HIV.

Dr. Tim Cook (Complementary Medicine & Physicians’ Health)
Dr. Cook is a lecturer at University of Toronto, Dept of Medicine and staff physician at Mt Sinai
Hospital. He is a specialist of Internal Medicine and Tropical Medicine and holds a Diploma of Tropical
Medicine and Hygiene from the University of London, England as well as certification from the
American Society of Tropical Medicine. He retired from the Canadian Forces Health Service in 2003
after 20 years of service and numerous international deployments. At the time of retirement he was
the Surgeon General’s senior advisor in internal and tropical medicine. Dr. Cook directs a travel clinic,
consults to the Canadian Forces Environmental Medicine Establishment at Defence R & D - Toronto
and is studying for a masters degree in international health (health systems management).

Jim Fulton (Practice Management & Physicians’ Health)
Jim Fulton has been the Executive Director of the David Suzuki Foundation since 1993. The
Foundation works through science and education to protect the balance of nature and our quality of
life, now and for future generations. He manages national campaigns on climate change,
sustainability, and marine and terrestrial systems. Health of our communities and the conservation,
protection and restoration of natural systems are the focus of program work. Jim is a graduate of
Simon Fraser University and in 1988 was awarded the outstanding graduate award for work on
national environmental issues. Prior to election in 1979 Jim was employed by the Ministry of Attorney
General for BC. |
Gregory Hilderman (Wealth Management)
Greg has been a partner in G2 Financial for the past 12 years and practicing comprehensive financial
planning for the past 23. He is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and
Chartered Financial Consultant and has spent the past 15 years specializing in retirement, tax and
estate planning. Greg has been instrumental in reshaping how numerous physician groups are
compensated, with a focus on improving their current and future lifestyle. Some of the groups he has
worked with include Neo-Natologists, Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Neurologists and the
Oncologists of Alberta and British Columbia. |
