Dr. Gregory Kline
Gregory Kline is the Evaluations Coordinator, Undergraduate Medical Education – Endocrinology at the University of Calgary. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and has since gone on to achieve specialty certification in Endocrinology as well as in Bone Densitometry. Dr. Kline has been awarded many honours for his teaching abilities, most recently, the Class of 2003 Award for ‘Most Outstanding Teacher’.

Kathryn MacDonald & Jane Blears

Kathryn and Jane have work together as a diabetes education team at the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, Ontario for over 10 years delivering care and education to people affected by diabetes. For the past five years, Kathryn and Jane have been teaching their diabetes education course for healthcare professionals entitled Choice, Challenges and Changes.

Dr. Mamta Gautam

Mamta Gautam, MD, FRCP(C), is a psychiatrist in private practice in Ottawa, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Ottawa. She specializes in Physician Health and Wellbeing, and has authored articles, book chapters and videos in this area. Dr. Gautam is the Founding Director of the University of Ottawa Faculty Wellness Program. Hailed as "The Doctor's Doctor" (physicians make up her entire patient population), she is an internationally known speaker, with over 300 keynote presentations and workshops in physician stress and mental health to her credit.

Bart Mindszenthy & Gail Roberts

Bart and Gail offer insight from 50 collective years in communications. Since founding their firm—The Mindszenthy & Roberts Corporation in 1990, they have provided counsel and support across Canada to more than 200 organizations in all sectors. Having worked on some of the highest profile issues and crises of the past decade, they’ve developed specialized workshops for professionals to effectively use communications to enhance understanding and strengthen relationships. Gail and Bart will focus on how physicians can communicate more productively and successfully with patients, staff, and others.

David C. Powell

David Powell is a Senior Associate Manager for Sun Life Financial coming from a long and successful association with Clarica and its predecessor Mutual Life of Canada. David has held a series of management positions including Agency Manager, Branch Manager and most recently Western Regional Manager for B.C. and Alberta. Since the 1980s, David has conducted seminars, workshops, lectures and sales conferences for dozens of companies and organizations in Canada, the United States, and Australia. David’s energy, humour, and enthusiasm connect with all types of audiences and make him a favourite keynote speaker at home and abroad.
