Dr. Milan Gupta
Milan Gupta, MD, FRCPC, FACC, is currently the chief of cardiology at the William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, Ontario, and is an Instructor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He holds additional certification status by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and by the North American Society for Pacing and Electrophysiology.
Dr. Gupta is a co-founder and past-chair of the Greater Toronto Area Community Cardiovascular Specialists (GTACC), and a member of the Cardiac Care Network of Ontario. He is a Council member for the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, and chair of the Local Arrangements Committee for the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress 2003.

Dr. Martin H. Strauss

Dr. Marty Strauss is a staff cardiologist at the North York General Hospital and has been in practice for 18 years. With 2 additional years of training in cardiac pharmacology, Dr. Strauss has a unique perspective on the appropriate utilization of pharmcalogic therapy in patients with cardiac disease and he speaks passionately on these topics. Dr. Strauss also has a special interest in the non-prescription drug management of cardiac disease.

Dr. John Satterberg

Dr. Satterberg is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Cobourg, Ontario. He specializes in issues relating to posttraumatic stress, chronic pain and medical psychology. He has been in practice since 1975.
After teaching at the Departments of Psychology and Physiology at the University of Toronto in the early 1970’s he opened a clinical psychology practice, specializing in chronic pain and medical psychology. He has a special interest in the impact of stress on professional caregivers. More recently he has been involved in the teaching of meditation, both as an aid to personal well-being and as an adjunct to psychotherapeutic treatment.


Bart Mindszenthy & Gail Roberts

Bart and Gail offer insight from 50 collective years in communications. Since founding their firm—The Mindszenthy & Roberts Corporation in 1990, they have provided counsel and support across Canada to more than 200 organizations in all sectors. Having worked on some of the highest profile issues and crises of the past decade, they’ve developed specialized workshops for professionals to effectively use communications to enhance understanding and strengthen relationships. Gail and Bart will focus on how physicians can communicate more productively and successfully with patients, staff, and others.

Gregory Hilderman

Greg has been a partner in G2 Financial for the past 12 years and practicing comprehensive financial planning for the past 23. He is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant and has spent the past 15 years specializing in retirement, tax and estate planning. Greg has been instrumental in reshaping how numerous physician groups are compensated, with a focus on improving their current and future lifestyle. Some of the groups Greg he worked with include Neo-Natologists, Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons,
Neurologists and the Oncologists of Alberta and British Columbia.
Peter Everett
Peter is Vice President, Planning Services with PPI Financial Group in Toronto. A tax lawyer, Peter graduated from McGill University Law School in 1977 and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of British Columbia. His practice is restricted to taxation, corporate reorganizations and life insurance tax and estate planning issues. He has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course, a number of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Income Tax Practice Courses, and the University of Western Ontario Law School Tax Course. Peter is also a conference speaker and has authored articles and presentations for legal, accounting and insurance professional groups.
