Dr. Mark Katz (Traditional Medicine)
Dr. Mark Katz is an Assistant Professor, in the Department if Psychiatry, at
the University of Toronto. He is also the Coordinator of Psychiatric
Services for the Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative
Care at Princess Margaret Hospital, University Health Network,
and a Staff Psychiatrist in the Medical Surgical Psychiatry
Program in the Department of Psychiatry, University Health
Network. Dr Katz' academic interests include Mood Disorders
in the Medically Ill and Psychosocial Aspects of Cancer; he
has a particular interest in the psychosocial impact of head
and neck cancer. Dr Katz is heavily involved in Education
at the Undergraduate Medical and Postgraduate Psychiatry level.
He is also very involved in both University and Industry initiated
Continuing Education activities for physicians, and has won
several University of Toronto Teaching Awards for his undergraduate
and CE contributions.

Dr. Gary Chaimowitz (Complementary Medicine)
Dr. Chaimowitz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and
Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University in Hamilton.
He is the Head of Service- Forensic Psychiatry at St. Joseph's
Healthcare. In addition to subspecialty psychiatry certification
he has an MBA from the University of Toronto. He has a longstanding
interest in First Nations mental health and acts as a consultant
psychiatrist to the James Bay Cree communities of Northern
Ontario. His continuing medical education activities include
organizing the McMaster Muskoka Seminars, now in its 9th year. He is a member of both the Ontario Review Board and the Consent and Capacity
Board. He is secretary both to the Canadian Academy of Psychiatry
and the Law as well as the Canadian Psychiatric Association
Native Mental Health Section. He is a member of the Canadian
Psychiatric Association Professional Standards and Practice
Council.

Dr. Derek Puddester (Physicians' Health)
Dr. Puddester obtained his B.A., B. Med. Sc., and M.D. from Memorial University
of Newfoundland. He completed a residency in Psychiatry at
McMaster University, and then completed a fellowship in child/adolescent
psychiatry at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Puddester is Director
of the Behavioural Neurosciences and Consultation-Liaison
team at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, working
primarily with children and youth affected by severe physical
and mental disorders. He is also a Director of Education for
the Department of Psychiatry at CHEO, and Director of the
Faculty Wellness Program at the Faculty of Medicine, University
of Ottawa. The Faculty Wellness Program provides preventative,
educational, interventional, and rehabilitation services to
medical students, residents, and staff physicians.

Bart Mindszenthy & Gail Roberts (Practice Management)
Bart and Gail offer insight from 50 collective years in communications. Since
founding their firm—The Mindszenthy & Roberts Corporation
in 1990, they have provided counsel and support across Canada
to more than 200 organizations in all sectors. Having worked
on some of the highest profile issues and crises of the past
decade, they've developed specialized workshops for professionals
to effectively use communications to enhance understanding
and strengthen relationships. Gail and Bart will focus on
how physicians can communicate more productively and successfully
with patients, staff, and others.

Gregory Hilderman (Wealth Management)
Greg has been a partner in G2 Financial for the past 12 years and practicing
comprehensive financial planning for the past 23. He is a
Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and
Chartered Financial Consultant and has spent the past 15 years
specializing in retirement, tax and estate planning. Greg
has been instrumental in reshaping how numerous physician
groups are compensated, with a focus on improving their current
and future lifestyle. Some of the groups he has worked with
include Neo-Natologists, Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons,
Neurologists and the Oncologists of Alberta and British Columbia.

Jessie Johnnie (Local Content)
Jessie Johnnie was born and raised in Hoonah Alaska, to her parents Lilly (Houston)
Johnnie and Clark Johnnie. Jessie joined two brothers and
a sister. Being raised by her Grandmother for most of her
young life, Jessie has always been interested in the culture
and the preservation of the traditions, stories and the values
of the Tlingit people. She has dedicated her life to teaching
about the culture and the values that her Grandmother related
to her and those life lessons that she has acquired by living
a common life while raising her children and staying close
to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
