Dr. Anil
Gupta (Traditional Medicine)
Dr. Gupta is Staff Cardiologist at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga.
He completed his MD at Dalhousie Medical School in 1996, his
Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Western Ontario
in 1999 and his Cardiology Training in 2001, also at the University
if Western Ontario, where he was a Chief Medical Resident
and Chief Cardiology Resident.
Dr. Gupta has been a Council member on the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Cardiovascular
Society (CCS). He is currently the Chair of Continuing Medical
Education for the Division of Cardiology at William Osler
and for the Greater Toronto Area Community Cardiologists (GTACC)
and currently serves on the Continuing Professional Development
Committee of the CCS and the Canadian Hypertension Society
Guidelines Implementation Committee (CHEP). He is on the primary
Panel for the recent CCS Fitness to Drive/Fly Consensus Document
and the upcoming Peripheral Artery Disease Consensus Document.

Gual (Complementary Medicine & Physician's Health)

Dr. Gual was trained as a general practitioner and a specialist
in Psychiatry at the University of Barcelona, Spain. Since
1980 he has been working in the addictions field. Head of
the Alcohol Unit at the University of Barcelona Clinic Hospital
since 1996, he has conducted clinical and epidemiological
research in the alcohol field, and has also been involved
in pre-grade and post-grade training. Since 1995 he has been
leading the WHO Collaborative Study on Alcohol and Primary
Health at the Health Department of Catalonia and is actually
co-leading the PHEPA project (Integrating Health Promotion
Activities into daily clinical work), financed by the EU.
In 1991, Dr. Gual received the Queen Sofia Award for his research
in the addictions field, and from 1996 to 2004 he has been
the President of the Spanish Scientific Society on Alcohol
and Alcoholism. Senior Consultant since 1998 at the Impaired
Physicians Program of the Medical Council of Barcelona, he
has also been actively involved since 1996 in the International
Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.

Dr. Pilar
Lusilla (Complementary Medicine & Physician's Health)
Head of the Inpatient Unit. Integral Care Program for Sick
Physicians. Galatea Foundation. Medical Council of Barcelona
Dr. Lusilla is a general practitioner at the University of
Zaragoza, Spain, where she also obtained the Doctoral Extraordinary
Award in 1994 for her thesis on rating scales for anxiety
and depression. She is trained as a specialist in Psychiatry
at the Clinic University Hospital in Zaragoza, and since 1995,
she has been working in the mental health field. Dr. Lusilla
has been chief of the Inpatient Unit at the Impaired Physicians
Program of the Medical Council of Barcelona since 2000. She
has carried out clinical and epidemiological research in mental
health on general population and specifically on impaired
physicians, and has also been involved in post-grade training
on burn out in health care professionals. She is an active
member of the European Psychiatry Association and member since
1999 of the International Motivational Interviewing Network
of Trainers.

Peter Everett (Practice Management)
Peter is Vice President Planning and Business Development for PPI Financial Group
in Toronto. A tax lawyer, he graduated from Bishop's University
in 1974 and McGill University Law School in 1977 and is a
member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Society
of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian
Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
His practice is restricted to taxation, corporate reorganizations
and insurance related matters. Peter's professional training
and development includes the In-Depth Tax Course and Income
Tax Practice courses offered by the Canadian Institute of
Chartered Accountants, and the income tax practice course
offered by the University of Western Ontario Law School. He
is a frequent conference speaker and author for the legal,
accounting and insurance community.

Hilderman (Wealth Management)
Greg has been a partner in G2 Financial for the past 12 years and practicing
comprehensive financial planning for the past 23. He is a
Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and
Chartered Financial Consultant and has spent the past 15 years
specializing in retirement, tax and estate planning. Greg
has been instrumental in reshaping how numerous physician
groups are compensated, with a focus on improving their current
and future lifestyle. Some of the groups he has worked with
include Neo-Natologists, Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons,
Neurologists and the Oncologists of Alberta and British Columbia.

Dr. Zarko
Vrbica (Local Content)
Dr. Vrbica is Head of the Pulmonology department, Internal ward, at Dubrovnik
General Hospital in Croatia. He graduated from Medical School
at the University of Belgrade, in 1988, and recently obtained
his Masters' Degree in Biomedicine from the University of
Zagreb Medical School. He is a member of the Croatian medical
association and has lectured at 5 expert congresses, including
one abroad.
