MIND
Dr. Mark Katz (Traditional Medicine)

Dr. Mark Katz is an Assistant Professor, in the Department if Psychiatry, at the University of Toronto. He is also the Coordinator of Psychiatric Services for the Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care at Princess Margaret Hospital, University Health Network, and a Staff Psychiatrist in the Medical Surgical Psychiatry Program in the Department of Psychiatry, University Health Network. Dr Katz' academic interests include Mood Disorders in the Medically Ill and Psychosocial Aspects of Cancer; he has a particular interest in the psychosocial impact of head and neck cancer. Dr Katz is heavily involved in Education at the Undergraduate Medical and Postgraduate Psychiatry level. He is also very involved in both University and Industry initiated Continuing Education activities for physicians, and has won several University of Toronto Teaching Awards for his undergraduate and CE contributions.



Dr. Vivian Rakoff (Complementary Medicine)
Vivian Rakoff is a Professor and Chairman Emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He has been a teacher throughout his medical career and was Director of Post-Grad education in the Department of Psychiatry for 10 years, prior to becoming Chairman of the department and Director and Psychiatrist-in-chief of the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry (now incorporated into the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health). Dr. Rakoff still leads seminars on an eclectic range of psychiatric topics with a special interest in the history of psychiatry and has been awarded The Schoenfield Prize by the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry. Also, he was recently named to the Roster of Great Teachers in the Medical School at the University of Toronto.
BODY
Cleo Boyd (Practice Management)

Cleo Boyd is a member of the Faculty of Arts and Science, and Director of the Academic Skills Centre at the University of Toronto. She is the 2001 recipient of U of T’s Award of Excellence for her contribution to the quality of student experience. Cleo is also a Communication Consultant to the Undergraduate and Graduate International Medical Graduate Programs, responsible for designing the instruments to measure competence in empathetic communication skills for admission to the program. In addition, she designs the instruction that helps foreign physicians and other professionals succeed in the highly complex environment of patient-focused care, within a multicultural context, in Canada.

Gregory Hilderman (Wealth Management)

Greg has been a partner in G2 Financial for the past 12 years and practicing comprehensive financial planning for the past 23. He is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant and has spent the past 15 years specializing in retirement, tax and estate planning. Greg has been instrumental in reshaping how numerous physician groups are compensated, with a focus on improving their current and future lifestyle. Some of the groups he has worked with include Neo-Natologists, Radiologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Neurologists and the Oncologists of Alberta and British Columbia.
SOUL
Dr. Michael Myers (Physicians’ Health)

Dr. Michael Myers is a recognized expert in Physicians’ Health. He is the Director of the Marital Therapy Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, and Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Myers has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching form Universities and other distinguished lectureships in Canada and the United States. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association and from 2000 – 2001 he was President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association.
