Health & Safety Protocols Atlas Ocean Voyages

Parent company, Mystic Cruises, has partnered with Bureau Veritas, a leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, and a pioneer in global health certification contracts.  Bureau Veritas has certified Mystic Cruises with its industry-leading hygiene and safety excellence label, SafeGuard™. The Bureau Veritas’ SafeGuard™ Hygiene Excellence and Safety Certification designate a facility that has met stringent requirements to minimize the onsite risk of virus spread and is adhering to best-in-class hygiene and safety protocols.

Onboard:

  • Mystic Cruises has implemented a strict continuous cleaning and disinfection process of all public areas and high-traffic sectors. The disinfection process will be done every day, throughout the day
  • Staterooms will receive intensive microbial disinfection daily, which includes fogging of the entire space inclusive of bathrooms and closets. The most frequently used areas, such as bathrooms, and most used devices, will receive additional stringent disinfection and cleaning
  • Medical-grade air filters will be installed throughout the ships to provide clean air for our guests. These filters are designed to remove air pathogens, including COVID-19
  • Atlas will continuously monitor the global health map and cancel or modify itineraries to impacted areas as needed

Guests:

  • All guests will be subject to pre-embarkation tests for COVID
  • All embarkation terminals will be sanitized to meet, SafeGuard™ strict guidelines
  • No-touch food service protocols will be followed throughout the ship. All crew serving food and beverages will wear protective masks and gloves
  • Restaurant seating will meet social distancing rules; thus, restaurants will have extended hours to accommodate our guests
  • The number of dispensers will be significantly increased to ensure guests and crew can disinfect their hands at all important contact places

Crew:

  • All staff and crew will be subject to pre-embarkation tests for COVID
  • There will be constant monitoring of staff and crew health, which includes testing of crew members, temperature checks multiple times per day as well as rigid sanitation and hygiene protocols
  • All staff and crew will wear the necessary PPE to execute their responsibilities, ensuring the safety of our guests and themselves
  • Mystic Cruises has established an extensive training program to ensure all crew are aware of the necessary COVID procedures
